A new feature on Instagram to stop harassment

Instagram, a Facebook-owned photo-sharing service, has been working long to stop harassment on the platform. This time, the service has introduced the caption warning feature to prevent harassment. From now on, Instagram will alert you if a user tries to harass with a photo or video caption. The service will show a warning notification for such captions.

The warning notification will show, "This matches the other reported captions." Instagram will then give the user a chance to change the caption. The user can share the caption without making any changes if desired.

In addition, those who do not intend to harass any other user will be able to share without changing the 'caption'.Instagram is already working to stop the harassment. The service also introduced a global feature called 'Restrict' in October. If you are harassed by a post or a bad comment, this feature can help. If the feature is turned on, you can swipe left to restrict Instagram users. As a result, the comment will no longer be visible to others.

Note that Instagram has begun to use artificial intelligence to remove harmful content from comments, photos and videos. In addition, the service does not allow teens under the age of 18 to watch the video content of content creators promoting weight loss and cosmetic surgery. Regarding the issues, Instagram chief Adam Mozeri said, "It's our responsibility to create a safe environment on Instagram."
