Samsung chairman jailed for breaching labor laws

South Korean multinational corporation Samsung board chairman Lee Sang-hoon has been given a nine-month jail sentence for violating labor laws.

He was accused in the court of refusing to unionize workers. Samsung Electronics Repair Unit, Subcontract Workers at Samsung Electronics Service accused 25 more, including Chairman Lee.
In 2013 , employees of the Samsung Electronics Service wanted a union. But it was alleged that it was intercepted by key officials.
