A plane crashed, with more than 180 people on board

A Boeing 737 Ukrainian passenger plane crashed in Iran on Wednesday morning, with 180 passengers and crew aboard, the Fars Iranian news agency reported without further details.
The news agency reported on Twitter that a Ukrainian International Airlines plane had crashed shortly after taking off from Khomeini Imam airport in Tehran, due to technical problems, with 180 passengers on board and its personnel.
According to Iranian media reports, the Boeing 737-800 crashed into the ground near Parand, the southwest suburb of the Iranian capital.
"The plane caught fire, but we sent ambulances to the scene ... and we might be able to rescue some of the passengers," Pirhunzein Kulivand, head of Iran's rescue services, told state television.
A spokesman for the Iranian Civil Aviation Authority spoke of 170 passengers on television in response to media reports.
According to flight tracking service Flightradar, flight 752 to the Ukrainian capital was scheduled to leave Tehran at 5:15 a.m., but the flight was delayed by almost an hour and took off at 6:12 .
