The Israeli occupation forces raided Sabri's house early Sunday morning and ordered him to appear in the police station for investigation, the report said. Shaykh Ikarima was finally dismissed for a week under pressure from Israel.

Israeli police questioned Sheikh Sabri on Saturday for speaking out against Israel, according to a information center called Wadi Al-Helwa.

Khatib of al-Aqsa Mosque told reporters that he was detained by Israeli police and taken to  police station in the center of occupied Jerusalem. During interrogation, the police banned him from going to the Al-Aqsa mosque until January 25.
