The death toll in China's Corona virus rises to 41. Most of the dead are from The Province of Hubei. As of Friday, the number of victims in the state has risen to 752. And the number of victims around the world has already crossed 1,000. Information that was reported by Al Jazeera and Reuters on Saturday, January 25, was quoted by officials.

Earlier, 26 people were reported killed in the virus. Meanwhile, authorities have confirmed the death of 15 more people. Four of them died on Saturday morning.

The virus, originated from Wuhan city in China, has already spread to 29 provinces in China, including the capital Beijing. Direct flight communication between China and the rest of the world has been rapidly expanded in the last 20 years. The 11 million inhabitants of Wuhan can now go directly to cities like Seoul, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, along with destinations in Europe and the United States. That's why the virus has spread outside China. At least 11 countries, including Japan, South Korea, Thailand, the United States, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan, Nepal, France and Saudi Arabia, have been found to be infected with the virus. Al Jazeera reports that so far, at least 1,287 people have been infected with the virus worldwide.

Most of the reports of the victims and deaths in China are from the province of Hubei. On Friday, the National Health Commission confirmed a total of 830 infections across the country. However, the authorities have not released any data on the national level. However, as a precautionary measure, public transportation has been stopped in Wuhan, the hub of the city of Hubei province. Residents are not allowed to leave the city.

Meanwhile, millions of Chinese people are planning to travel during the lunar New Year weekend, beginning Saturday. It is feared that the rate of infection may be more rapid. However, surveillance has been strengthened to prevent the spread of the virus worldwide. Passengers are being checked at airports across the country. Especially the chinese are being watched carefully by the passengers back.
Screening or testing of passengers from Wuhan is being carried out in the United States, UK, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, etc. The Indian Health Ministry said 43 flights and 12,000 passengers will be checked at seven airports including Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, by next Wednesday.

The virus is transmitted through a virus-like sneeze or flu. The infected person may experience respiratory, fever, cough or pneumonia.

The World Health Organization says the primary source of the virus may be an animal. However, Chinese officials think it has a connection with the market for a marine food in Wuhan. The virus is the first of its to be transmitted to the local market.

Experts have suggested that the virus avoid infection as no vaccine has been detected so far.
