How to use Google Photos

Google Photos is one of the most popular online photo storage and sharing services. It is easy and free to use. You can have as many pictures as you want. Android-powered smartphones, tabs, iPhones, iPads, Macs or Windows computers can be used on any device. In all, users have been quick to take up the service since it was launched in 2015.

Selecting 'High Quality' as the size of a picture in Google Photos will provide unlimited storage for backups. That means you can keep as many pictures as you want. However, if the image is more than 16 megapixels, it will automatically shrink to 16 megapixels.

Selecting the 'Original Quality' option can keep the image without any contractions, but your Google account's storage quota will be spent. You can't keep the picture when the Storage Quota of Google Accounts is out. This storage quota for free accounts is 15 gigabytes. If you want, you have the opportunity to buy extra space.
