India second in smartphone sales

The United States was the second largest smartphone market after China. India has now moved to second place removing United States, says Counterpoint Research, a research firm. In 2019, about 158 million smartphones were marketed in the country.
China is in the first place. Interestingly, it is China that contributed greatly to India's second place. This means that the Indian market is led by chinese-made smartphones.

72 percent of smartphones marketed in India in 2019 are made up of Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo and Realme. The relatively low prices of phones by these Chinese companies are the most common in India. Again, the popularity of Chinese smartphones in the country has also made the companies grow increasingly. For example, Xiaomi can be mentioned. India has its largest market, even china.

iPhone is doing well in India. The same is not true of Samsung.
