Iraq, America strengthens troops to protect themselves from Iranian revenge

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Army announced that the United States hit the Ayn al-Assad Airbase with dozens of ballistic missiles.

The Army of the Revolutionary Guards launched an attack with ballistic missiles at the Ayn al-Assad Airbase, where US troops in Iraq's Anbar province.

Iran's semi-official Fars News Agency also shared footage about the attack.

US President Donald Trump arrived in Iraq on 28 December and visited US troops at the Ayn al-Assad Airbase.

If the US responds to the attack on ballistic missiles at the Ayn al-Assad Airbase in Iraq, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Army said it would be "much tougher and overwhelming".

In a written statement by the Army of the Revolutionary Guards, Iranian general Kasim Suleimani's revenge operation, the US's Iraqi Ayn al-Assad Airbase dozens of land-to-land ballistic missile said.

The statement warned that if the US responds to the attack, Iran will be "much tougher and overwhelming".

In a statement, the US people were advised to call their troops in the region to avoid further harm.

Iranian media, the US base in Iraq "second wave" missile attack announced the start.
